A bitcoin savings plan you can actually keep

A bitcoin savings plan, in the plain sense the bitcoin 101 course uses, is a dollar amount and a date. You decide both while nothing exciting is happening. Then you follow the date. The price on that date is the price. The plan does not promise that the next date will be cheaper or richer.

A calendar beats a mood

People call a steady purchase dollar-cost averaging. The name is less important than the rule: the amount was chosen in advance, and you can skip a month in writing if the household needs the cash for a bill.

Keep spending money out of the plan

Dollars that pay rent do not belong in a savings plan you might not touch for years. Fill the near-term cash first. The course separates those jobs so a rough month does not force a sale you wrote down as forbidden.

This page describes a habit you can explain to your family. The free first lesson and the Twenty One OS program are where that habit sits inside a whole treasury.

Questions

Will a savings plan make money?

Nobody honest can promise that. The habit is about a rule you can keep. The result depends on the price, the fees, and the years you actually stay with it.

Where is this taught?

In the bitcoin 101 course, after the lessons on what bitcoin is and how a purchase works.
